Notice all the Black Friday emails you’re getting?
Every year it’s more and more. You’re reading an email from my CRM software and they sent out a warning a week ago about scheduling our Black Friday emails now!
I will not be competing with that craziness.
But there are lessons to be learned from all this, and we need to recognize the opportunity.
Everyone in the fitness business, especially this year, needs to have gift certificates available.
I suspect most people reading this email has a gift certificate program in place.
The bigger question is are we effectively marketing our gift certificates? Here is what we need to do ASAP.
- Revisit our gift certificate program.
- Prepare new promotional material that addresses the new normal as we come out of the pandemic and face a possible recession.
- Start promoting the program in multiple marketing channels with our current clients, members and customers.
- Keep promoting throughout the holiday season.
Sounds simple and it is, as long as we start now. We must get this “top of mind” as a great option for people as we head into the buying season.
