I have been committed to a fitness lifestyle forever.
Because of that, good genes, and some luck, I am very fortunate to be able to do all kinds of things usually reserved for much younger people.
I feel very alive.
I visited one my doctors, a specialist, the other day. Since the pandemic put things on hold for a while, it had been 2 years since my last visit.
As I checked in, the receptionist mentioned that they had me as “deceased.”
Wow! At first, I didn’t think much of it as she asked me some questions, and got my files updated.
Since that visit, I have thought about this scenario quite often. We all know we will die someday, but it’s usually not in our face quite like this.
It provided the perfect stimulus to remind me to keep living my life on purpose.
Living our lives on purpose is central to our happiness and fulfillment.
I would encourage each of you to write down the answer to this question: How do you plan to use your talents, skills, and gifts to help heal the world? In other words, what is your purpose for leading the life you lead?
