About a year ago I visited a very popular fitness business that is experiencing explosive growth.
I had no interest in joining, I was simply checking out how and why they were so successful
There do very little traditional advertising and yet they strike terror in the hearts of fitness business owners when they move into a new neighborhood.
An for good reason. Their marketing strategies and tactics are outstanding.
I have mentioned them several times, but that was several months ago when they were following up with me on a constant and steady basis.
Over the summer the frequency of follow up contacts slowed down. After all, I kept saying “no.”
Two days ago, I wondered when they would be contacting me again, and then yesterday the phone rang and it was them.
I would venture to conservatively say they have contacted me no less than 30 times through calls, texts, and an occasional email.
I wish I had kept a record. (I would guess they know exactly how many times they have contacted me.)
They are always pleasant, encouraging and cheerful regardless if it’s a call or a text message. They politely remind me that they have my goals in mind with each call or text.
They offer me another free trial visit and most importantly they are not pushy salespeople.
Besides the interruption in my schedule, I actually enjoy hearing from them.
Their contacts and calls, always remind me that we teach the same thing in the 6 figure Trainers programs.
What they are doing is very easy when you have created the systems and can put them on autopilot. So easy that you will look back at your consistently growing client base and wonder what took you so long to put this low-cost, personal follow-up system in place.
