I am not a fan of television programming, but I like to catch the Sunday Morning program on CBS when I can.
Yesterday, they featured WWII veteran, Ernie Andrus, who is planning his second run across America.
He finished his first run across the country in 2016 at the age of 93! Now at 95 he is headed back out on trip #2.
He anticipates this trip will take a little longer because age is slowing him down a bit.
He has it all planned out and will be celebrating his 100th birthday during his record-breaking run!
It’s amazing what people can do when they have a goal and do the work necessary to accomplish the goal.
There are lots of lessons for all of us in Ernie’s journey, from goal setting, to faith, perseverance and a commitment to fitness to name a few.
His remarkable journey started with a goal, just like our desired accomplishments must start with a goal and a purpose.
We see a lot of people who want something different than what they have, but they really don’t have a goal and a plan.
If you don’t have a goal that gets you excited on Monday morning, or if you’re honestly not making progress with your goal – stop what you are doing and get some help.
A great place to start would be with our free Executive Report. Check it out here.
Just like running across America, it all starts with taking the first step.
