I never fully understood or appreciated the “12 Days of Christmas” CrossFit Workout.
However, my members loved it.
It was from from the best programming, but I reasoned it was only one workout.

It seemed to be a suffer-fest at best.
However, my members loved it, asked for it, and looked forward to it.
They were so excited, and I decided that my opinion didn’t count for this workout. My team’s goal was to have fun leading the workout and keep everyone from getting hurt. The excitement was great!
The concept was cool, take a holiday theme and apply it to a workout.
Let’s take this to a new level with a business workout, “12 Days of Christmas, Business Edition.”
Here we go with Day #1. (we are starting this “business workout” now, because this is essentially about marketing.)
On the first day of Christmas we have GIFT CERTIFICATES available for purchase.
We need to make sure gift certificate offerings are available now, ready to go on Black Friday!
As the pandemic continues to evolve, one thing is certain, people are warming up to prioritizing their health & fitness again.
People are looking for gifts for their loved ones. People are concerned about gas prices and traveling. There is concern about the supply chain. As more and more people travel and shop, there is increased concern for transmission of infection.
A gift certificate solves all of these challenges!
The key is to get it available now. However you plan to manage it, is fine. I highly recommend a digital and a print (hard copy) version. The key is to be able to make it easily available to people. Think Amazon with one-click shopping.
A word of caution: Don’t price discount as an incentive. For many reasons that I won’t get into here, discounting price as an incentive is a really bad business strategy.
The goal today is to get the gift certificate available, along with a seamless purchase process, and completely ready for sale now.
