As CDs were coming of age, there was a bit of a crossover for a short time.
Record producers offered albums and CDs of the same artist at the same time.
One of Tom Petty’ s CDs, Full Moon Fever, had a great line at the half-way point. He recorded this message. “we will take a short break to give those listening on records a chance to get up and turn the record over.”
Every time I heard this line, I smiled. Still do.
Just in case you don’t know, half of the album was on one side of the vinyl disc and half on the other. You had to physically turn the record over to get to Side 2.
For this weekend we are going to take a short break to give everyone a chance to catch up. For some people, it might be to get started.
New for everyone is a series of videos I created to go along with each of the challenges. The videos contain some different information about each day, and I’ve spent some time focused on the all-important WHY you need to do this challenge NOW.
No worries, you can start this challenge anytime, even if you celebrate Christmas in July. 🙂
