When I started my fitness business I was pretty naive.
I figured that “If I built it, they would come.”
I worked hard, gave my “friends” discounts, worked harder, struggled to pay my bills for the business, worked even harder, and became exhausted and discouraged.
Soon I realized “If you build it, they will come,” is a great movie title but not much of a business plan.
I started doing research and found lots of information on how to build a business. Little of it made sense to me.
The fitness world has some unique challenges, but at the end of the day, like all businesses, you need to make some money.
I was not interested in becoming a millionaire, but struggling every day was taking its toll on me.
I started looking for other people to give me some ideas. Specifically, I was looking for other gym owners who had cracked the code of profitability.
I was shocked to discover that most fitness professionals while being great people, had very little sense of how to successfully run a fitness business.
Slowly I began to turn things around in my life and once I knew how, making a six-figure income and owning a gym that I could walk away from for a couple of months, without losing members and income, was not all that hard.
But I had to learn from successful people – people with real-world experience
I have had over four decades of business experience in the fitness industry and I have learned, sometimes the hard way, to be successful.
Now my mission is to help others who are like the younger me.
Today I have an offer for you.
