I don’t know where the saying, “move heaven and earth.” came from.
In a literal sense, It’s an impossible task.
But the saying sends a message.
So does the saying, “got cold feet.”
Neither are complete sentences, yet both create very powerful emotional messages. Boiled down it means, do something impossible or retreat in the face of fear.
Both sayings have one thing in common. Both get our immediate attention, and send us a very clear message. They hook us.
It’s very easy to go astray in our marketing because we do not have an immediate, clear and compelling emotional message. And it’s just not the fitness industry.
Many businesses and business owners spend a fortune marketing their business with vague and even confusing messaging.
Make it a habit to ask business owners what they do. The answers that are centered and focused will get your attention. They will either attract or repel your attention, and that’s what they should do because their business is not for everyone. Neither is yours.
Getting our messaging clear is a critical first step in moving our business forward, especially in today’s pandemic world.
