The Iditarod Signals Spring Is Here

By the time you read this the Iditarod will have started out of Anchorage, Alaska.

Thirty-three mushers, the smallest group in history, lined up for this classic event with a rich history.

Ahead of them is one thousand miles of twisting, turning trails with crazy downhill sections and endless challenges.

Competitors are from all over the world and it’s interesting to see the number of rookies in the lineup.

While I wouldn’t mind watching it, it’s not something I would want to compete in. However, every year I find myself curious about this historically significant sporting event.

I have great respect for these athletes, and for the event.

There is something about tradition that endures the test of time that inspires and motivates us in many ways.

What traditions do you have in your business?

Traditions contribute to making your programs a world-class experience, and a world-class experience for your existing customers is a critical part of a great marketing program.

It’s infinitely easier and less expensive to keep customers than to replace them. Give them experiences and memories to build a rock-solid tribe that will never leave you.

As we put the pandemic behind us, it’s the perfect time to bring back our traditions.

If we don’t have old traditions to revisit, now is the perfect time to create some new traditions and new fun times!

Holidays and special events are great opportunities to start a tradition and a history. St. Patrick’s Day and April’s Fool Day are two great examples to consider in the near future.

Get started now and have fun.

Remember you get results if you take immediate action on your idea!
