The Youngest Pony Express Rider

As you know I travel a lot, full time to be exact.

I travel because I have an insatiable curiosity and I love to discover and learn.

The things I see around this country amaze me.

For instance, while out west this summer I was often on the path of the Pony Express and the Oregon Trail.

Numerous museums seemed to dot the landscape and the Pony Express exhibits caught my attention in particular.

The youngest rider was 11 years old! He also fought in WWI at the age of 67! He tried to enlist to fight in WWII, but was rejected because he was 91 years old!

I love learning things like this.

In the fitness business world, we live and die by the goals we establish.

Those goals are usually adjusted to match our perceived realities, and age is often one of them.

We’re too old, too young, too poor, to chase our dreams.

Nothing is further from the truth and we always need to be reminded that very likely someone, somewhere has already walked the path that seems so insurmountable in front of us.

Never let fear and imagined obstacles get in the way of your big thinking. Dare to dream and imagine, for just the week ahead.

Then inspire your clients, customers, and members to do the same. They may seem to resist your enthusiasm at first, but they will remember it.

And then you have moved the 7th step of your marketing plan, Deliver a World Class Experience, forward.

Want help with this or any of the other steps in a marketing plan? Set up a time on my schedule, and we’ll talk about some options for your market.

It’s a free opportunity for you!
