Bad Things Happen In 3s

Last week in my email, I mentioned that I was on the side of the road with a truck breakdown. One day later that was fixed.

Then the next day I noticed a flat tire. Since my tires are top of the line, this had me concerned, but what happened next shocked me.

I called AAA and during the hour-long scheduling process, I was told by the tow truck driver that AAA does not fix inside dual-wheel flats. What? Even for the Premier RV (very expensive) membership? Nope!

That third surprise happened in as many days and put me seriously behind my schedule for my new plans!

This is a pattern that I have seen throughout my life.

Once you make a decision for massive change in your life, life has a way of coming against you for a bit.

And right now that makes perfect sense to me. I’ll explain in a minute.

Let’s say It’s near the end of the year and you decide to make some massive marketing changes for the end of this year, which will set up next year nicely. This is a great plan, by the way.

The first thing you can expect is a challenge out of the blue. Something is going to present itself as a massive problem with your new plan. You may or may not get derailed. Most people do.

But you’re different and you get through the challenge.

Then in rapid succession, two more challenges appear out of nowhere and your future marketing plan is in serious jeopardy.

This is exactly where most people stop.

This is exactly where successful people do not stop. They forge their way through, regardless of the circumstances.

Over time successful people recognize and accept that any and all good decisions will face massive adversity. The bigger the plans for change the stronger the opposition.

Making big changes in your business plans for next year? Great! Just know that you will be challenged in ways you can’t anticipate.

It’s all good if you see it as part of making progress.

At 6 Figure Trainers, we have some massive changes in the works that we will be rolling out at the beginning of January.

These three challenges, although new and different than anything I’ve experienced before, are an indication that I’m on the right path.

Stay tuned for some big announcements!

And start making your big changes for next year right now, so you can get the challenges out of the way now.
