There is a great scene in the movie, Vacation, starring Chevy Chase.
He has taken his family all over the country, overcoming incredible obstacles on the way west. One of his destinations is the Grand Canyon.
His family is focused on this goal. They spend painful hours cramped in the family car.
Finally, they arrive at the edge of the Grand Canyon.
They arrive in awe at the edge of the canyon and take a quick, wondering look down, Chevy announces, “Ok kids, that’s the Grand Canyon, back in the car.”
I didn’t see that coming, and I’ve never forgotten the line. In fact I use it quite often. 🙂
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
“Ok, kids, that was Thanksgiving, back in the office.” 🙂
Time to get back to our 12 Days of Christmas Challenge.
By way of reminder: Last week I announced a special event I am offering known as The 12 days of Christmas, Fitness Business Version.
It’s a great opportunity for you!
If you missed the announcement, you can catch up here .
This challenge will change the trajectory of your fitness business in December and even more significantly in January.
The challenges are not hard to do at all, but they will require a bit of your time.
Here’s how it works.:(This is for review. Skip to the next section if you saw this last week.)
We all know it can be quite challenging to stay focused on building our business during the holidays. There are tons of distractions and human nature tends to put things off until later, like January for instance.
One way to stay focused is to break things up into small manageable bite-sized pieces and tackle one piece at a time.
In the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge we break up marketing into bite-size pieces (challenges) and give you one a day for 12 days.
The daily task should take less than an hour to complete.
At the end of the 12 days, you will have made progress on 12 aspects of your business, The sum of the total is greater than the sum of the parts and you will be amazed at what you will have accomplished.
Starting Monday of next week, we are back to normal, you’ll receive a daily email containing one simple challenge.
Your job, should you choose to accept it, my friend, will be to complete the task.
The next day you will receive another email from me with another task to be completed.
There is no fee, no requirement, or anything to opt-in to. It’s my holiday gift to you.
The tasks will all be very simple, however, should you have any questions, just send me an email and I’ll get back to you.
Today’s Challenge, the Second Day of Christmas:
Review all your Google reviews and get two more reviews. That’s it.
Of course you can get more, but we only need two for today.
Also: Did you pick up your tip sheet for explosive growth? I published it last week. It’s all about how to explode your business in light of the pandemic, right now!
