What Is The Best Way To Turn New People Into Raving Fans

I am in search of a trail-worthy vehicle for the desert.

The desert has a vast network of off-road trails, literally 1000s of miles of trails.

I can only explore so much on my bicycle as I am limited by time and distance. OK, I might also be limited by how far I can ride in a day. 🙂

I am in no hurry to make this investment which gives me time and flexibility to explore the options, of which there are many.

I concentrate on the options, most of which are on the side of the road adorned with a for sale sign. This gives me the chance to inspect the vehicle and look at the features outlined on the sale sign.

There is always a phone number to call.

I am amazed at how much more I learn about the sale once I talk to the owner.

January is a crazy, busy month in the fitness industry which works to our advantage.

Taking massive action now, while the iron is hot, can completely alter the year ahead. Getting prospects into the program, so they can have an experience, is Goal #1.

Following up is Goal #2.

Just because someone is trying out the program, does not mean they are committed and will become a raving fan.

A passive approach based on assumptions is exactly the wrong plan to follow. Some people will not follow through with an energetic commitment to their New Year’s resolution when they see how much work is involved. That is life.

However, there is a large percentage that will follow through on their goals, if they get through the first few weeks.

Picking up the phone and calling them is the best way to do everything you can to keep them engaged.

Ask how they are doing with open-ended questions. Listen to their responses. Explore their goal and empathize with their struggle.

The fact that you cared enough to call will separate you from the competition. You will not keep everyone engaged, but you will keep many more using this method of follow-through.

An additional benefit is that you will learn a lot about your program from the prospect’s view. This alone can be worth thousands of dollars.

Crushing your goals in 2024 starts with crushing your goals in January when interest in fitness is at its peak.

If not now, then when?
