Russel H. Conwell wrote a great book, Acres of Diamonds.
It starts out telling the story of a weary farmer, tired from the relentless work he was doing on his farm and not getting the results he wanted.
In frustration, he sold the farm and moved on.
The buyers of the farm discovered diamonds on the farm property and became wealthy.
The lesson of the story is the farmer could have been rich, too, if only he recognized the treasure on the farm, right beneath his feet.
The book goes on with many more lessons about the opportunities right in front of us, if only we explore the options.
