And In Today’s News

One of the national news syndicates had a news story on a barber shop the other morning.

What made this story worthy of national prime-time airing? The barber shop was getting into the business of mental health programming!

The interview with the owner of the business was very engaging. He went on to talk about why he was going to do something about mental health, and why his approach was “ideal” for barbershops.

He cited an impressive list of advantages his business had to enter this market need.

It was very clear that he understood his market, their needs, and his ability to provide a program to add value to his customers.

As I listened, I could not help but think his list of impressive advantages pales in comparison to the advantages the fitness industry has to address this pressing need.

As you know from my previous email (If you didn’t read it yet, you can check it out here). There is a huge need for mental health programming, which is a huge opportunity for the fitness industry.

The question is how would we go about adding such a program to our offering?

Two solutions jump out right away:

  1. Offer a stand-alone event, such as a class, a workshop, or a seminar.
  2. Introduce the addition by slowly weaving it into your existing classes. Think in terms of how you interweave nutrition and mobility into your sessions.

The best option is a combination of both suggestions listed above.

And the best way to do this is with a plan, a carefully designed marketing strategy to address this issue.

Start with a piece of paper and write your thoughts down and bounce them off your team of coaches.

Better yet, jump into our Marketing and Mentoring Boot Camp Challenge starting June 20. The Boot Camp Challenge will lead you through the steps to clarify your marketing plan for the rest of the year.

A huge bonus is that I will also be mentoring you individually throughout the week to insure that by the end of the week you have everything in place and you will get the results your want.

This is not just some theory you will listen to, this is a proven process to help you develop your plan, unique to your situation.

I look forward to seeing you in the challenge! Go here for more information.

Remember, you get results only if you take quick action on your ideas.
