Yesterday was a crazy busy day of meetings, which means I needed to decompress.
I chose a highly rated movie on Amazon with few expectations. The name Tender Bar didn’t lend itself to much, if any expectation.
I soon became caught up in the story line and completely engaged.
At one point the main character is dreaming and having a conversation with his younger self. Wouldn’t this be cool?!
In the midst of his struggle to become an author his younger self says, “I think you should go back to sleep, wake up in 20 years, and tell everybody how good you could have been.”
This, of course, woke the main character back up.
I don’t know about you, but this got me to thinking.
For how many people is this a reality? Half-living for 20 years only to then tell people how good we could have been?
We hear this message over and over again through a variety of media.
Yet how many of us take action? With ourselves first, and then with our businesses?
Doing the opposite of “sleeping for 20 years,” is staying “awake” and making changes.
Daily changes add up over time to massive action.
Massive action changes lives and businesses.
This is the stuff legends are made of, and great movies!
Try it, teach it, and change the world, one member at time!
Remember, you only get results if you take immediate action on your ideas!
