Within the first week of meeting with my clients, I always ask for a copy of their marketing plan.
Everyone has a marketing plan, or at least that is what I am told.
While most people believe they have a marketing plan, unfortunately, it’s usually only in their head.
Why is this important to every small business owner?
First, a written plan forces us to crystalize our thoughts. Second, when it’s in writing, we can share it with our team and get their buy-in. Third, a written plan has a much higher potential of coming to fruition.
A real marketing plan that you can touch is a source of fun!
Fun to implement, fun to monitor, and fun to evaluate.
The problem is, most people don’t know what should be in a written marketing plan, the first step of fun marketing.
