Improving performance… for your first 100 years, was a featured wrap on the side of my utility trailer.
The utility trailer supported my fitness business and went to triathlons, fitness competitions and running events in my service area.
The part of the signage that said, for your first 100 years got the most attention.
It was not the biggest, or boldest typeface by any stretch of the imagination.
It was by far the most noted and talked about part of the trailer.
Many conversations and jokes started from those five words.
The intended purpose of those words was to signal and reinforce a significant part of the culture of the business.
Those words got people to thinking and talking.
I wanted people thinking about how they are going to celebrate their 100th birthday. All my 6 Figure Trainer clients are confronted with this question at some point in our conversations.
I just finished reading the book, Lifespan, by David Sinclair, PhD.
It seems that I may have sent the wrong message.
According to David Sinclair the lifespan potential for the human body is well beyond 100 years in the very near future, like right now.
This is a great opportunity for all of us.
